Technorati Embed Claim Script

This is really geeky stuff. Technorati have given me some code which seems necessary for them to monitor this site. I don’t know where to post it. It is actually hiding in the code before the first word of this post. Here is what they say:

Copy and paste the script code you see, preferably into the side bar code of your blog. For example, for Blogspot Accounts, log into your account, go to your dashboard and click on your blog. You should see Tabs for Posting, Settings, Template, View Blog. Click on the Template Tab. In the window, you’ll see HTML code from the “Edit Current” sub-tab. Scroll down to the “SideBar” Code which should start where you see <!– Begin #sidebar –> Paste your embed code anywhere here.

I don’t see how to do this in WordPress. Well, maybe when this article is pinged, it will be done. How will I know?

Edit: The script vanished. So, I will attempt to paste in after this sentence.

Nope, when I look at the source of the posting, WordPress has striped out the code. what if I don’t post it as code, but like this: <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://embed.technorati.com/embed/tdarxafkfh.js”></script>  ??
