Clear – but more snow to arrive today

That mighty low pressure that marched up the north eastern coast of Asia last week has arranged itself into a series of depressions that are now advancing on the north Pacific coast of North America.

In the grey light of dawn (as I write) it looks like another clear cold day on the Salish Sea. This bubble of cold high pressure should be pushed eastward and the clouds will be here this afternoon. The forecast is for 5 to 10 cm of snow to fall on Vancouver overnight. Periods of precipitation will continue all week. It should remain chilly enough that all of this will be snow up in the hills. Good!

    Hi Robert,

I’m flattered that you like my photo blog enough to add me to your blogroll. Thanks! You seem to be a much bigger fan of snow than I am…I grew up in San Diego, and I only like it to be here for one day so we can sled!

About the Snap…it’s driving me a bit nuts too.
Although those that use Blogger think it’s way cool and are off to add it to their site. So, I’m going to give it more of a chance. Thanks for posting the directions on how to get rid of it though.
