Swathing the lawn

Snapper lawnmower in tall grass
Today, the sun was warm enough for the old Snapper lawnmower to start.
The lawn was ready for the first cut of the 2008 season. (!)
That chute, made from a broken ice cream bucket and duct tape,
actually throws the grass like a snow blower.

    good old duck tape,
i used to hold some of my V12 Jag together with that stuff.

was hoping from the title that you may be using a sickle and I could borrow it.

    Be well,

My Dad had a rusty but sharp sickle. Now I am wondering what became of it. For this job I’d need a scythe.

I do have a Weed Eater and 100′ extension cord you could borrow. I am not clear: do you want something to cut greenery or to hurt someone?
