Sunset on the eastern wall of Howe Sound

A few moments ago, as the last rays of today’s sunlight were shining, I walked down the street for a view of the water and mountains. There was a frosty golden light on the east wall of Howe Sound. Mount Harvey is in the centre and the highest mountain in this range is to the left: Mt .Brunswick. The little thumb on the right is the peak of the West Lion.

    It’s been an amazing week of constant cold, dry, windy weather. What I have enjoyed is that we’ve had no power outages! It is cool indoors, but bearable. And we’ve maintained access to the Internet. Life’s good.
