Christmas Eve snow on Bowen Island

This was taken from my office window moments before posting on flickr. It is the morning of Christmas Eve on Bowen Island. We had a large dump of snow last night. It is before 11 am and it is still falling.

WOW!! We have the same scenario. I went for a walk along the beach this am – simply gorgeous, and of course easy to walk where as there is little snow in the tidal zone.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Robert!

Thanks Dona. We don’t have to go out today. But I may experiment to see if the set of chains for the old van will fit the tires of the Vitara.

This is lovely. As the snow continues to sift down, every gust of wind causes great avalanches off the trees. It causes a momentary white-out.

    Merry Christmas!
