The greatest eclipse of the 21st century

By ‘greatest eclipse’ I mean the total solar eclipse with the longest duration of totality.

I’ve been invited to lead a tour to China to observe this eclipse. I’ve traveled to see six of these events and I am very lucky with the weather. I am 6 for 6 (clear skies). The tour has yet to be planned but these days ‘first things first’ means start blogging first. So, today I launched Eclipse Chaser to plot the course of the eclipse of 2009 July 22.
